Spent a fabulous afternoon on the Avanti. Thank you so much to Vincent for making everything so perfect. Kids and adults alike had a wonder time. Highly recommend.

We booked this as a work event and it was one of the best team outings we've ever had! The "Salonboot Avanti" itself was beautifully maintained with heating, a toilet, nice selection of wines and beer, and it was kept very clean. The setup inside was beyond expectations and it was, as the Dutch say, "heel gezellig!" Captain Vincent (also the owner) was a great host! He was so patient with me while organizing the ride and is super knowledgeable in the history of Amsterdam. His response rate via email is pretty quick, especially during the late afternoons, and he always answered the phone when I called. Vincent was very accommodating during the whole transaction while booking and even picked us up near our office on the Herengracht. I suggest having all the details ready for him before reserving so as to make sure the booking process is as smooth as possible. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend booking with Vincent and his team!

Thanks to Vincent we had a fantastic kick-off of our wedding day on 21-7-21. The Avanti is a beautiful saloon boat for a festive occasion. I recommend it to everyone! Very friendly and flexible skipper Vincent, rightly proud of his beautiful saloon boat Avanti, has given us an unforgettable holiday in Amsterdam from the water.Delicious dishes arrived on board at every stop, matching cool drinks on board.Just a bit too much to ask, plenty of historical explanation if desired, small route change, in short, an absolute must!

Wij werken regelmatig samen met de salonboot Avanti. Onze klanten zijn altijd tevreden over de informele sfeer op deze boot: gezellig, ongedwongen en daarom vooral geschikt voor bedrijfsfeesten en/of familie- en vriendengroepen. Wat belangrijk is is het feit dat het dak helemaal van de boot af kan. Dat kan bij geen enkele boot in Amsterdam! Sinds kort is dineren aan boord van de Avanti ook mogelijk door de nieuwe tafel. Er is ruimte voor ca 18 man om zittend te dineren. Gerechten worden dan opgehaald bij een restaurant op de Prinsengracht. Leuk detail: de twee kroonluchters geven deze salonboot net die extra touch! We werden welkom geheten op het meer dan 100 jaar oude schip Avanti. Het was er lekker warm, we zaten op schapenvellen, onder romantische verlichting en met een glas gluhwein erbij. Schipper Vincent is sympathiek en ervaren en gaf ons informatie over alle licht-kunstwerken van het festival. De muziek op het schip was zorgvuldig aangepast aan de kunstwerken en ik dacht dat deze bij de tour hoorde. Maar nee, schipper Vincent stelde zelf de muziek samen en maakte zo de visuele belevenis een complete belevenis! We hebben genoten van het prachtige schip, de intieme ambiance, de boottocht, de kunstwerken en we zagen de stad Amsterdam op z'n mooist.

Verdient in alle opzichten een 10! Tijdens ons kerstfeest heeft Vincent ons rond gevaren op de prachtige salonboot Avanti. De boot was super gezellig aangekleed, er waren heerlijke borrelhappen, gezellige muziek en een leuk en duidelijk verhaal wanneer we langs een Amsterdam Light Festival kunstwerk vaarden. Vooraf heb ik goede communicatie met Vincent gehad waardoor ik binnen no-time alle vertrouwen erin had dat dit een top avond zou gaan worden. Dubbel en dwars een aanrader!

j.l. woensdag 2 januari (20:15), hebben wij een fantastische Light Show Amsterdam gezien. Mede door u als Captain en de sfeervolle boot Avanti hebben wij dit als een zeer gezellige avond ervaren. Mede door uw historische en kunstzinnige informatie, afgewisseld met bijpassende thema muziek zal ik uw adres zeker aanraden bij vrienden en relaties.Wij hebben een paar jaar geleden de Light Show geboekt bij een van de grote rederijen: beslagen ramen, ongezellige massa sfeer. Belangrijke vergelijking: voor de zelfde prijs is bij Avanti inbegrepen drankjes en versnapering.Wij komen zeker terug. Bedankt!MvrGR Karel Crouwel

It was a fabulous adventure on the Avanti boat. Vincent is a very good captain who explains all the artworks about the Amsterdam Light Festival and tells the anecdotes of the city of Amsterdam! The staff is warmhearted and welcoming, it will offer drinks such as hot wine during the tour. The climate is atypical with songs ! I highly recommend this unique traditional experience.

Wat een geweldige boot is dit, we hebben meerdere tochten gemaakt door de Amsterdamse grachten en op het IJ. Elke keer was het weer een groot feest om zo Amsterdam te zien. De ervaren schippers in combinatie met de lekkere hapjes en drankjes maakten alles tot een topervaring! Bedankt we komen zeker terug!!

Salonboot De Avanti claimt sfeer te verkopen. En gelijk hebben ze! Heerijk 'foute' muziek, volledig passend op de onderdelen van de tour, kroonluchters en rode kussens en ijsbeervel, een fijne tourguide (tevens eigenaar) en lekkere drankjes! En 't was gewoon warm binnen, zonder dat de afsluiting iets van de sfeer en het uitzicht weg nam. Een perfecte avond op t water, dank! :)

AMAZING! Had 150 people come from Germany for a conference and wanted a real "Amsterdam experience" for them. Vincent was super helpful and nice and organized already in advance of the event. He arranged everything, checked in, arrived early even and overall took great care of us! That together with his enthusiasm which infected everyone, the delicious beers, wine and bitterballen - we all had an amazing time and lots of laughter. I would recommend him in a heartbeat! Super experience!

Wat een schip, je voelt je direct thuis als je aan boord stapt. De schipper weet de weg door de grachten en de juiste sfeer neer te zetten. Heerlijke ontspanning door de grachten van Amsterdam. Mijn vrienden en familie waren onder de indruk van deze verrassing op mijn verjaardagsfeest... en stappen graag nog een keer in deze prachtige salonboot.

What a beautiful boat! The skipper knows the ways in the canal belt to show you the beauty of Amsterdam. Together with your friends, family or business. He knows how to welcome you and feel comfortable. You feel directly at home ready to take of. The only problem with this boat is that the trip has an end. Wonderful experience!
